New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett posted seven receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Week 1 win against the Houston Texans. He was targeted seven times.

Huddle Up: Dorsett posted a total of 12 catches with 194 yards and no receiving touchdowns across 15 games in 2017 with the Pats. He was expected to be better, but he already has more than half as many catches as he had all of last year. The former Miami Hurricanes standout looks like a solid sleeper heading into Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett is on track for a larger role entering his second season with the team. He is the projected starter opposite Chris Hogan to open the regular season. 'I think my comfort level has gotten a lot better,' Dorsett said. 'But you can't get complacent in this offense. Everything changes. There's a lot thrown at you, and they expect the best from you. So if you don't bring your best out there, something bad is going to happen.'

Huddle Up: Dorsett caught only 12 passes for 194 yards and no TDs on 18 targets last season. But with Brandin Cooks now gone, Julian Edelman suspended for the first four games and the Pats already having sent Kenny Britt, Jordan Matthews and Malcolm Mitchell packing this month and adding only Eric Decker in return, the No. 2 WR gig is more or less Dorsett's by default for the first month of the season. He's worth rostering as an end-of-the-bench WR to see what happens.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett has 'gotten better every week,' according to head coach Bill Belichick.

Huddle Up: Although Dorsett has just four catches on the year, Belichick has raved about the youngster since the club acquired him from Indianapolis for Jacoby Brissett. When the Patriots are fully healthy, Dorsett doesn't really have any value, but he did have a 68-yard effort when pressed into duty earlier this season. With Chris Hogan possibly out this weekend, Dorsett could be an option for owners in deeper leagues.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 29, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Huddle Up: Dorsett was not targeted in Week 3 and probably is at least the fourth or fifth option in the team's passing game. Owners in all leagues should avoid him until he is more productive.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: Dorsett was not targeted in the Week 3 game and likely will be the No. 4 receiver for the Patriots in Week 4. Owners in all fantasy leagues should be able to find better options to use and can avoid Dorsett.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) is expected to play in Week 3's game against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Dorsett was a limited practice participant throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. He's worthy of consideration as a flex option in deeper fantasy leagues.

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: Dorsett has been limited over the last two days and may have a chance to play in Week 3. Dorsett posted solid numbers in the last game before he left with the injury. He could be a flex option if he plays this week, but owners could look for healthier options to use in their lineups.
