Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 23 of his 37 pass attempts for 225 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Huddle Up: The highest scoring offense in the NFL was held to seven points, and Goff was kept off the board in the touchdown category for just the second time in 10 outings. He'll look to rebound in Week 12 in a battle against Drew Brees and the Saints.

  • Posted: 11/15/2017 6:05pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff has the second largest increase in passer rating from a quarterback's first year to his second, thus far owning a 101.5 QB Rating this season, which is 37.9 better than his 63.6 mark of a year ago. That difference has him only behind Philadelphia Eagles QB Nick Foles, who oversaw a difference of 40.1 in his QB Rating from 2012-2013.

Huddle Up: Goff's significant improvement from his disastrous rookie campaign has been one of the best stories of the season. It also has solidified him as a legitimate QB1, even when he has a tough matchup, which will be the case in Week 11. Despite a date on tap versus the Vikings, it's just too tough to bench him opposite any opponent, especially with how he's been rolling as of late. In his last two games, Goff has topped 300 yards in both contests while amassing seven total touchdowns compared to no interceptions.

  • Posted: 11/12/2017 8:01pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff threw for a career-high 355 yards in a 33-7 win over the Houston Texans in Week 10, completing 25 of his 37 passes and tossing three touchdowns.

Huddle Up: Goff has thrown a combined seven touchdowns the last two games, showing he has QB1 upside when the matchup is right. However, he will fall into the QB2 range against a solid Minnesota Vikings defense in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 12:57pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff went 14-for-22 for 311 yards and four touchdowns against the New York Giants in Week 9.

Huddle Up: Goff recorded his third multi-touchdown game and second 300-yard game of the season. He has been playing very well under head coach Sean McVay and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback against the Houston Texans next week.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 5:18pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 22 of his 37 pass attempts for 235 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals in London. He also added two runs for 13 yards and a score.

Huddle Up: Goff and the Rams embarrassed the Cardinals overseas, but it had a lot to do with defense and the run game. Goff still has one or no touchdown passes in five of his seven starts this season. He remains more of a QB2 in fantasy heading into Week 9 after the bye.

  • Posted: 10/15/2017 8:45pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 11 of his 21 pass attempts for 154 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Huddle Up: Goff didn't do much, as his defense and special teams picked up the slack. Goff was humming along early on and surprising from a fantasy perspective, but he's back to QB2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against the Arizona Cardinals in London.

  • Posted: 10/8/2017 8:55pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 22 of his career-high 47 pass attempts for 288 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. He also rushed once for 22 yards.

Huddle Up: Goff opened the season with seven passing scores and just interception, and this was his first game without a passing touchdown while also posting his first game with multiple turnovers. Chalk it up to facing a tough defense. He'll look to bounce back in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road.

  • Posted: 10/1/2017 5:26pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 21 of his 36 pass attempts for 255 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Huddle Up: Goff has been much better than his rookie season a year ago, and he has accounted for seven touchdowns and just one interception through four outings. He has been more productive than some more notable fantasy options like Matt Ryan, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston, just to name a few. He faces a difficult matchup in Week 5, however, when the Seahawks come calling.

  • Posted: 9/28/2017 8:23pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff said he has made some big plays outside of the pocket but doesn't want to make a 'habit' of it.

Huddle Up: Goff is off to a strong start in his second season. He isn't a weekly starter in standard formats, but he is looking like a viable QB2.

  • Posted: 9/21/2017 9:10pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff went 22-for-28 (78.6 percent) with 292 yards passing and three touchdowns against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday, Sept. 21.

Huddle Up: This was Goff's best day as a professional as he lit up a 49ers defense that had been respectable in Week 1 and downright stout this past Sunday. You can blame fatigue for some of San Francisco's struggles, but it's time to acknowledge that Goff looks like a totally different player in Year 2. If he's available in your league he'd be worth plucking off waivers as a QB2 with starter potential in the right matchup.

  • Posted: 9/17/2017 9:22pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 15 of his 25 pass attempts for 224 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the Week 2 game against the Redskins.

Huddle Up: Goff took a step backward in this one after throttling the Colts in the opener. Still, the No. 1 overall pick looked lost in 2016, but he has really made some strides and will continue to improve as the team adds talent around him. He faces a short week before the team travels to San Francisco on Thursday in Week 3.

  • Posted: 9/10/2017 7:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff completed 21 of his 29 pass attempts for a career-high 306 yards and a touchdown in a 46-9 win over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Fantasy owners stashing Goff can only hope this was a sign of things to come in Sean McVay's offense. If he can put up similar numbers against Washington in Week 2, Goff could start to enter the QB2 conversation.

  • Posted: 6/19/2017 12:01pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff said he has understood and grasped all of head coach Sean McVay's so far this offseason. Goff said he has learned the offense much quicker this year than he did his rookie season. McVay said he has implemented about 95% of his offense so far.

Huddle Up: Understanding is one thing, showing that understanding into positive production is completely different. Goff had a laughable rookie campaign last year and is not even guaranteed the starting job this season, although his work so far is a good step. Nonetheless, do not draft Goff as a starting fantasy quarterback.

  • Posted: 5/30/2017 7:26pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff has 'done a nice job of getting better,' according to head coach Sean McVay. However, McVay added, 'But you always want to make sure you're playing the guy that you feel like gives you the best ability to win football games. Right now, Jared is the starter.'

Huddle Up: That hardly qualifies as a firm endorsement for last year's No. 1 overall pick. Sean Mannion is reportedly enjoying a solid offseason, and it is important to remember the new regime is not tied to Goff in any way. With that said, the investment the organization made into Goff last year will probably break any ties as to who starts Week 1. It goes without saying the second-year quarterback is a long way from fantasy relevancy.

  • Posted: 5/23/2017 10:01am ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff said Monday, May 22, learning Rams head coach Sean McVay's offense has been easier than last year's learning curve under then-head coach Jeff Fisher. Goff noted how different the systems are to learn, and Rams offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur praised Goff's pace of picking up the system.

Huddle Up: While this is encouraging news, Goff has miles to go before he is a fantasy consideration. At a minimum, gamers can hope his increased competence bolsters value for RB Todd Gurley.

  • Posted: 5/13/2017 8:19am ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff has been exceedingly present this spring and picked up the new playbook at a 'surprisingly quick pace,' according to new offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur. 'He?s coming in early and staying late. He?s really grasped the offense surprisingly fast, especially for a new guy. When you get a new guy in an offense, there is a transition period with that, but he?s doing a nice job of picking it up at a surprisingly quick pace,' LaFleur said.

Huddle Up: Save for a half against the New Orleans Saints, Goff looked like the raw rookie he was in 2016. In his defense, the Rams didn't give him much of a chance behind a poor offensive line or with one of the world league's worst receiving corps. He is still probably at least a year away from contributing in most fantasy leagues, but new head coach Sean McVay and LaFleur should be able to help him look like a more competent quarterback as a sophomore in 2017.

  • Posted: 2/18/2017 6:54pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff is a 'natural thrower,' according to offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur, and LaFleur said he plans to 'marry' the run and the pass in 2017.

Huddle Up: Goff really struggled when taking over as starter last year, and while he should make strides as a sophomore, he might not even crack QB2 territory in 2017.

  • Posted: 2/16/2017 5:57pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff is working with quarterback gurus Tom House and Adam Dedeaux this offseason.

Huddle Up: It's a step in the right direction for Goff, who endured a disastrous rookie campaign this past season. House and Dedeaux have played key roles in the development of several big-time quarterbacks in the past including Tom Brady, Drew Brees, and most recently, reigning NFL MVP Matt Ryan. Goff shouldn't really even be considered yet as a QB2 going into drafts next year, but this should at least accelerate his progress.

  • Posted: 2/11/2017 6:06pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff is expected to make a 'huge jump' in his second season, according to quarterbacks coach Greg Olson, and Olson said he is looking forward to working with Goff.

Huddle Up: Goff is worth a flier in keeper formats, but after major struggles as a rookie, he doesn't need to be selected in redraft leagues in 2017.

  • Posted: 12/24/2016 6:42pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff (concussion) completed 11 of his 24 pass attempts for 90 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 16 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Huddle Up: Goff shook off concussion to play, but he did not look good at all against a very poor defense. He has a long way to go before he is relevant in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/16/2016 6:38am ET

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff (concussion) is in the concussion protocol after the game Thursday, Dec. 15, according to interim head coach John Fassel.

Huddle Up: Goff has a long week to recover from his concussion, but he's not worth using in fantasy as he's clearly just a dynasty chip right now.

  • Posted: 12/8/2016 7:20pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff (illness) returned to practice and was a full participant Thursday, Dec. 8.

Huddle Up: Goff draws a friendly matchup against a porous Atlanta secondary, but the rookie is still too unproven to trust in any fantasy format.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 10:56pm ET

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff (illness) missed practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, but head coach Jeff Fisher said the missed practice will not set the rookie back from starting the Week 14 game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Goff has a juicy matchup, but he remains nothing more than a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues requiring two starting signal callers.

  • Posted: 12/7/2016 6:58pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff (illness) did not practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, due to an illness.

Huddle Up: Goff is still expected to start in Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons. It's a favorable matchup for Goff against a poor Falcons pass defense, but he remains nothing more than a low-end QB2 in leagues using two starting signal callers.

  • Posted: 12/4/2016 4:19pm ET

Los Angeles Rams rookie QB Jared Goff completed just 14 of his 32 pass attempts for 161 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the Week 13 game against the New England Patriots.

Huddle Up: Goff's completion percentage of 43.8 was his lowest in three starts, and the outing marked his first multiple turnover game. He is only worth a look in the deepest of fantasy leagues requiring two starting signal callers. Goff actually faces a pretty favorable matchup against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 14, a team that entered Week 13 with the NFL's worst passing defense statistically.

  • Posted: 11/27/2016 3:09pm ET

Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff threw 20-of-32 for 214 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-21 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Huddle Up: It will be baby steps forward for Goff, who is in just his second start after a 134-yard outing against the Miami Dolphins last week. He's best left on the sidelines unless you have a dynasty or keeper leagues, in which case pick Goff up if he is available.
