New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas posted four receptions for 74 yards on five targets in Week 5 against the Washington Redskins on Monday, Oct. 8.

Huddle Up: Thomas was overshadowed by Tre'Quan Smith (3-111-2) in this one, and Cameron Meredith was also busier (5-71-0) with Ted Ginn sidelined. As such, Thomas and his fantasy owners might be disappointed that he didn't have a bigger night in a game which saw the Saints go for 43 points. Thomas will look for bigger numbers in Baltimore in Week 7.

  • Posted: 10/6/2018 10:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara and WR Michael Thomas are tied for the league lead with 10 receptions inside the 20 - three more than any other player.

Huddle Up: Only 21 players across the league had 10 or more catches inside the red zone last year, so the fact teammates are at that mark after four games speaks to how proficient and pass-heavy the Saints have been so far. It's also a big reason why both players rank the top their respective positions in PPR leagues. While Mark Ingram's return figures to curb how active they have been near the end zone up to this point, both players could easily hold their current spots atop the fantasy leaderboard all season long.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 8:43pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught all four of his targets for 47 yards in a 33-18 win over the New York Giants in Week 4.

Huddle Up: Thomas and the entire passing attack had an off day, but look for him to return to his WR1 ways in a home contest against the Washington Redskins in Week 5.

  • Posted: 9/28/2018 8:30pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas has caught 38 of his 40 targets this year, and his 95 percent catch rate is the highest mark of any player with at least 38 catches since the NFL began tracking targets in 1992.

Huddle Up: Thomas is currently on pace for more than 200 receptions, and while this level of production is unsustainable, he has entrenched himself as a must-start WR1 heading into a Week 4 matchup with the New York Giants.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 4:16pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas managed 10 receptions for 129 yards on 10 targets in Week 3 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Thomas has been a catch machine, posting at least 10 grabs in each of his three games to date while racking up 40 targets with 398 yards and three scores. The best news of all is that Week 3 was his first game of the season without losing a fumble. He'll play his first game of 2018 outdoors when the Saints travel to meet the Giants in Week 4.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 1:54pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught 12 passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.

Huddle Up: Thomas has recorded 28 catches in the first two weeks and should continue to receive plenty of targets moving forward. He should be a No. 1 wide receiver in all leagues next week against the Atlanta Falcons.

  • Posted: 9/14/2018 12:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (illness) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 14, and is not on the injury report for Week 2.

Huddle Up: Thomas continues to be one of the most valuable fantasy receivers in the NFL and will be a weekly No. 1 receiver in all leagues as long as he is healthy.

  • Posted: 9/13/2018 3:11pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (illness) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 13.

Huddle Up: Thomas will be fine for Week 2 and will continue to be a focal point in the team's passing game. He should be a No. 1 wide receiver in all fantasy leagues this week.

  • Posted: 9/12/2018 3:13pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (illness) did not practice on Wednesday, Sept. 12 due to an illness.

Huddle Up: Thomas is a little green in the gills, but he has a few days to get well before Sunday's battle with the Cleveland Browns. He opened with a gem in the Week 1 shootout with the Bucs, and he remains an obvious WR1 in all fantasy formats against the 0-0-1 Browns.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 1:54pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught 16 passes for 180 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1.

Huddle Up: The Saints did a lot of passing during the game, so Thomas was called upon often during the game. He is one of Drew Brees' favorite targets and should continue to be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 6/22/2018 8:19pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas said he changed his diet and added muscle this offseason without changing his playing weight.

Huddle Up: Thomas is already entrenched as a WR1, and it doesn't sound like his letting success go to his head. He's a legitimate top-five fantasy option at his position.

  • Posted: 6/12/2018 11:18am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (undisclosed) was excused from the first day of minicamp Tuesday, June 12, according to head coach Sean Payton.

Huddle Up: It remains to be seen what the reason was for Thomas not attending, but it doesn't seem to be something to be too concerned about. Thomas remains a top-five wide receiver candidate.

  • Posted: 1/14/2018 5:33pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas went for seven receptions, 85 yards and two touchdowns in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game loss against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Huddle Up: Thomas shined in the stunning playoff loss, but the Saints came up just short on a Vikings touchdown on the final play of the game. He will be back in 2018 as a legitimate WR1 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 1/7/2018 5:43pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas posted eight receptions for 131 yards on nine targets in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Jan. 7.

Huddle Up: Thomas was bothered by a hamstring injury practice this week, but that certainly didn't look like a problem since he turned in a season high in yardage. He'll again be an important cog in the offense next week in a difficult matchup on the road against the Minnesota Vikings.

  • Posted: 1/5/2018 1:23pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and has been removed from the injury report for the Wild Card playoff game.

Huddle Up: Thomas had success against the Carolina Panthers during the regular season and should be a No. 1 fantasy receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 1/4/2018 1:53pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Jan. 4.

Huddle Up: Thomas should be a big part of the passing game against the Carolina Panthers and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/3/2018 2:26pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Jan. 3.

Huddle Up: Thomas will be ready to play in the Wild Card game but probably will be limited during practice this week. He posted 157 yards and two touchdowns in his two regular season games against the Carolina Panthers this season and should be a No. 1 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/29/2017 4:14pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) was limited during practice Friday, Dec. 29, but is not on the injury report for Week 17.

Huddle Up: Thomas was able to have a solid Week 16 performance despite the injury and should receive his normal workload this week. He should be considered a No. 1 or No. 2 fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Posted: 12/28/2017 3:55pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: Thomas was able to play in Week 16 despite the injury and appears to be on track to play this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has been a solid fantasy contributor this season and can be a No. 2 fantasy receiver this week.

  • Posted: 12/27/2017 2:44pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) was limited in practice Wednesday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Thomas has a tremendous matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, so it would be a shame for him to miss such an opportunity. He's scored three times in his last four games, averaging about 10 targets in those contests. Deploy him as a WR1 assuming he plays.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 6:42pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught four passes on five targets for 66 yards in a 23-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16.

Huddle Up: It wasn't a spectacular line, but Thomas was dealing with a bit of a hamstring injury, and the Saints didn't throw the ball a lot as they tried to preserve their lead. Expect him to return to his WR1 status against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 8:53am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) is officially active for the team's Week 16 game.

Huddle Up: Thomas was added to the injury report this weekend, so it is not known if the injury will limit him in any way. He should still be a starting option in all leagues, but owners may want to lower their expectations.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 6:50am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) is considered 50-50 to play in Week 16's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Huddle Up: Thomas was added to the injury report with a hamstring issue late in the week and is listed as questionable. A decision on whether or not he will be active will be made following pregame warmups. He is worth starting in fantasy lineups if he is cleared to play but if he is deactivated, expect WRs Ted Ginn Jr. and Willie Snead and RB Alvin Kamara to see additional targets this afternoon.

  • Posted: 12/23/2017 1:26pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (hamstring) has been added to the Week 16 injury report because of a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Thomas will be able to play against the Atlanta Falcons. He should be a starting option if he is active for the game, but owners will need other options ready in case he is ruled out.

  • Posted: 12/20/2017 8:15pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas became the second player in NFL history -- with New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. being the other -- to register at least 90 catches in each of his first two seasons in the league after his performance in the team's Week 15 game Sunday, Dec. 17.

Huddle Up: Thomas is set up nicely to produce much of the same in the coming years so long as Drew Brees continues lining up under center for the Saints, but as it concerns 2017, the 24-year-old is arguably playing his best football right now. In three December contests, Thomas has tallied 24 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns. Prior to this month, the former second-round draft pick had just two scores all season.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 6:11pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas posted nine receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets in Week 15 against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Thomas didn't show any ill effects of the eye injury he suffered last week. He wore a protective shield on his helmet and he just kept on rolling. After a couple of mediocre games in the middle of the season Thomas is starting to make up for lost time. He has at least five receptions in nine straight outings and he has visited the end zone in a season high three consecutive outings. He is a legitimate WR1 in fantasy leagues heading into Week 16 against the Falcons. He blasted Atlanta for a season-high 10 catches for 117 yards and a score in the first meeting with the Falcons on Dec. 7.

  • Posted: 12/15/2017 1:39pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (eye) practiced in full Friday, Dec. 15, and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 15 game with the New York Jets. He will be playing with a protective visor after being poked in the eye.

Huddle Up: Thomas has re-emerged as a fantasy must-start lately, posting 35 receptions for 447 yards and two touchdowns over the past five games. He has five or more grabs in 12 of his 13 games this season.

  • Posted: 12/14/2017 3:24pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (eye) practiced in full for the second consecutive day Thursday, Dec. 14.

Huddle Up: Thomas will be out there on Sunday but the only concern might be if the Saints are blowing out the Jets at the Superdome that he might see his role scaled back in the second half as a result. Either way, the second-year receiver is poised to do some more damage after tying his season high last week with 117 yards. He's also scored in consecutive ballgames.

  • Posted: 12/13/2017 2:45pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (eye) was able to take part in a full practice session Wednesday, Dec. 13.

Huddle Up: Thomas tied a season high with 117 yards last Thursday in Atlanta and he has a touchdown in each of the past two games. He is back as a dependable WR2 in most fantasy formats, and just in the nick of time for fantasy owners.

  • Posted: 12/7/2017 8:32pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught 10 passes on 14 targets for 117 yards and a touchdown in a 20-17 loss to the Atlanta Falcons Thursday, Dec. 7.

Huddle Up: Thomas has seen at least eight targets in all but one game this year, and he provides a WR2 floor with WR1 upside no matter the matchup.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 8:46pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught his third touchdown of the season, finishing with five catches for 70 yards in a 31-21 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 13.

Huddle Up: While touchdowns have been few and far between for Thomas, his steady yardage and reception totals make him a high-floor WR2.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 8:44pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught five passes on eight targets for 52 yards in 26-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12.

Huddle Up: It wasn't a banner day for Thomas, but on the plus side, this is his floor for yards and catches. The lack of touchdowns continues to cap his upside, but Thomas remains a dependable WR2.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 7:14pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught six passes for 91 yards in a 34-31 win over the Washington Redskins in Week 11.

Huddle Up: Thomas continues to display a high floor, and he is on pace for more than 100 catches and 1,000 yards. Even with a lack of touchdowns, Thomas is a WR1.

  • Posted: 11/11/2017 6:16am ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) no longer appears on the injury report for Week 10's game versus the Buffalo Bills.

Huddle Up: Thomas has 22 receptions over his last three games, although he hasn't reached the end zone since Week 4's contest against the Miami Dolphins. View the Saints' top receiving threat as a WR3 in standard fantasy formats and as a WR2 in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 11/9/2017 2:20pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 9.

Huddle Up: Thomas should be good to go this weekend as long as he doesn't suffer any setbacks in the next couple days. While the Buffalo Bills have been stingy against the pass this year, Thomas is a low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 candidate.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 2:26pm ET

Updating a previous report, New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: Thomas has two days to get back to full practice status. We'll know more about how he looks for Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills after Friday's practice. When healthy he is a decent WR3 in most standard formats, and a WR2 in PPR play.

  • Posted: 11/8/2017 12:24pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (undisclosed) missed practice Wednesday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: Whatever caused Thomas to miss practice has not been disclosed, but it doesn't appear to be serious or we probably would have heard about it by now. Tabs will need to be kept on the Saints' No. 1 wideout throughout the week, but he needs to be kept in starting lineups barring anything serious.

  • Posted: 11/5/2017 5:06pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas racked up eight receptions for 65 yards in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 11 targets.

Huddle Up: The eight receptions tied a season high, and he has seven of grabs in three in a row and five of the past six outings. He remains a solid WR3 in most standard formats, and a must-start WR2 in PPR leagues.

  • Posted: 10/29/2017 2:51pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught seven passes for 77 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 8.

Huddle Up: He has caught at least seven passes in four of his last five games and has at least 80 yards in four of the last six games. He is a reliable fantasy option for owners and should be weekly starting option.

  • Posted: 10/27/2017 2:10pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (knee) fully participated in practice and is not on the injury report for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Thomas should receive his normal workload against the Chicago Bears and will see a decent amount of targets. He should be at least a No. 2 fantasy receiver in all leagues this week.

  • Posted: 10/26/2017 2:45pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 26.

Huddle Up: It appears that Thomas is on track to play in Week 8, but owners will know more about his status in the next day or two. He has become one of the better fantasy receivers over the last week or two and should be considered a No. 2 receiver if he plays.

  • Posted: 10/25/2017 2:46pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas (knee) was not able to practice Wednesday, Oct. 25.

Huddle Up: Thomas will be one of the bigger names to keep an eye on in practice reports this week. If he continues to be a non-participant then it would behoove fantasy owners to develop a contingency plan if he is unable to play. Brandon Coleman and Ted Ginn Jr. would benefit most, with Willie Snead becoming a sleeper candidate.

  • Posted: 10/22/2017 2:46pm ET

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught seven passes for 82 yards against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7.

Huddle Up: Thomas bounced by from a quiet Week 6 performance and should continue to be a top target in the Saints passing game. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues next week against the Chicago Bears.
