Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette met with executive vice president Tom Coughlin and other members of the team's front office to clear the air regarding his up-and-down 2018 season and perceived negative attitude, according to sources. The meeting seemingly went well for both sides and they are prepared to move in a positive direction.

Huddle Up: There had been whispers of Fournette possibly leaving the Jaguars after two years, but those were unfounded and seem to have already been quenched. There is risk in drafting Fournette, leading with the fact that he has missed 11 games in his first two seasons. The talent is evident, though, and he must still be viewed as a second or third-round fantasy draft pick.

  • Posted: 1/2/2019 11:05pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is not expected to be released during the offseason, according to NFL.com's Tom Pelissero. Fournette was criticized by Tom Coughlin, the team's executive vice president of football operations, for 'disrespectful' behavior during the team's Week 17 loss, and there were also reports that the remaining guaranteed money in Fournette's contract was voided by the Jaguars due to his suspension earlier in the season.

Huddle Up: Fournette has been solid for the Jags, though thus far he hasn't been the game changer that other recent first-round backs like Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott have been. The LSU product has also missed 11 of 32 games during his two seasons, creating a medical red flag moving forward. Heading into 2019 he looks like a borderline RB2/RB3 candidate depending on what changes the offseason brings.

  • Posted: 12/31/2018 8:38am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was stripped of the guaranteed money in his contract due to his suspension, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Huddle Up: That certainly won't make Fournette happy, but there isn't much fantasy impact on this news. He is too talented not to utilize in 2019, and he'll be on the back end of the RB1 group.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 9:31am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) is listed as doubtful for Week 17 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Carlos Hyde is questionable with a knee injury, so the Jaguars may be forced to go with T.J. Yeldon and seventh-round rookie David Williams. Fournette has undoubtedly had a disappointing season, although he never could seem to get right physically and watched his offensive linemen drop like flies throughout the season. He'll likely be viewed as an RB2 in 2019 drafts.

  • Posted: 12/28/2018 8:47am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) was out of practice Friday, Dec. 28.

Huddle Up: His status appears grim for Week 17. Carlos Hyde could be an RB2 against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 12/27/2018 1:20pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 27.

Huddle Up: Owners will know more about Fournette's status in the next day or two. He can be a low-end No. 1 or No. 2 running back if he is active for the game.

  • Posted: 12/26/2018 1:43pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (ankle, foot) was listed as a limited participant Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Huddle Up: If Fournette is able to play he should be treated more as a low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in Week 17, as the Houston Texans rank fourth in rush defense and they're still fighting hard for better playoff seeding.

  • Posted: 12/23/2018 5:49pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 18 times for 43 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 28 yards in a 17-7 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Fournette has been held under 50 rushing yards in three straight games, and with no threat of a passing attack to scare defenses, he is going to remain a volume-based flex option against Houston in Week 17.

  • Posted: 12/21/2018 1:03pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Dec. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 16.

Huddle Up: Fournette has been held to under 50 yards in each of the last two games but has received at least 10 carries in six of his seven games this season. He can be considered a No. 2 running back in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 12/20/2018 3:33pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (foot) was a full participant in practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Dec. 20.

Huddle Up: There's no doubt Fournette will play in Week 16 but it remains to be seen what impact he can make on championship matchups with quarterback Cody Kessler under center. Although Fournette has totaled fewer than 100 yards from scrimmage the last two games combined, he still may be of use as an RB2.

  • Posted: 12/19/2018 2:11pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (foot) was able to practice in full on Wednesday, Dec. 19.

Huddle Up: Fournette might be ready to go in Week 16, but he is an extremely risky fantasy play. He was active last week, but the coaching staff said they wanted to look at David Williams instead. The Dolphins have a leaky run defense, but Fournette might not get a chance to tear them up.

  • Posted: 12/17/2018 9:23am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was not injured in Week 15 but ran only one time in the second half - for 25 yards - so the coaching staff could get a closer look at David Williams, according to head coach Doug Marrone. Fournette also served as the kickoff returner in Week 15 after not having played that role since he was a freshman in college.

Huddle Up: Fournette confirmed "that was the game plan coming in." It's almost unthinkable that a coaching staff likely on its way out would sit its offensive star so the Jaguars could see their seventh-round pick in action. It is now clear owners should have been suspicious when Jacksonville made Carlos Hyde inactive. Fournette has a mouthwatering matchup in Week 16 against the Miami Dolphins, but owners may have to bench him unless the coaching staff commits to giving him his full workload next week.

  • Posted: 12/16/2018 3:28pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed for 46 yards on 11 carries against the Washington Redskins in Week 15. He also caught three passes for 18 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Fournette has been held in check over the last few games but has received at least 10 carries in all but one game this season. He should have more success next week against the Miami Dolphins and can be a No. 2 fantasy running back.

  • Posted: 12/6/2018 8:37pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 14 times for 36 yards and caught two passes for five yards in a 30-9 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 14.

Huddle Up: Fournette was unable to find running room in this one, but he dominated the backfield touches in his return from a suspension. He should remain a volume-based RB1 candidate most weeks.

  • Posted: 12/3/2018 3:08pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was reinstated from his one-game suspension Monday, Dec. 3.

Huddle Up: Fournette's presence means Carlos Hyde is essentially irrelevant in the fantasy realm again. You're putting Fournette back in your starting lineup(s), but lower expectations since he'll be facing one of the best fantasy rush defenses this year in the Tennessee Titans.

  • Posted: 11/28/2018 5:20am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette's appeal of his one-game suspension was denied Wednesday, Nov. 28, and he'll be out for Week 13.

Huddle Up: Carlos Hyde will likely step in to the primary ball-carrier role, and he has a midrange matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. He'll have Cody Kessler under center, which could be a good thing if he takes care of the ball. T.J. Yeldon should be the third-down back. Hyde is a flex option this week, and Yeldon is a very risky one.

  • Posted: 11/27/2018 10:26am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is appealing his one-game fighting suspension, and it will be heard Tuesday, Nov. 27, by NFL appeals officer James Thrash, according to a league source.

Huddle Up: Fournette returned from his six-week hamstring-injury absence in fine form, totaling 358 yards and five touchdowns on 80 touches over the last three games, but unless he wins his appeal, he'll be back on the shelf in Week 13. Stay tuned ...

  • Posted: 11/26/2018 4:42pm ET

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette is expected to appeal his one-game suspension.

Huddle Up: Owners should know more about Fournette's availability for Week 13 in the next day or two. Fournette will be a must-start option if his suspension is dropped, but Carlos Hyde and T.J. Yeldon would be flex options if Fournette misses the game.

  • Posted: 11/26/2018 4:12pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette has been suspended one game for violations of the unsportsmanlike conduct and unnecessary roughness rules.

Huddle Up: Fournette may appeal the suspension but probably will not be available for the Week 13 game. Carlos Hyde likely will receive the start and will share snaps with T.J. Yeldon. Hyde could be a flex option in standard leagues, while Yeldon would have some value in point-per-reception leagues.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 10:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette ran 18 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns prior to being ejected from the team's Week 12 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He added 13 yards on three receptions.

Huddle Up: One can only imagine what kind of damage Fournette could've done had he not been tossed with around three minutes left in the third quarter. That he left the sidelines to get involved at least raises the possibility of a suspension, but it seems highly unlikely. Still, if Fournette were suspended that would be a boost for Carlos Hyde.

  • Posted: 11/25/2018 12:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was ejected from the Week 12 game after an altercation with Buffalo Bills DE Shaq Lawson.

Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation to see if Fournette receives any additional punishment for his involvement in the altercation. He is a weekly starting option when he is healthy.

  • Posted: 11/18/2018 6:00pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 28 times for a season-high 95 yards and a touchdown in Week 11 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also added two grabs for 46 yards.

Huddle Up: Fournette had a month-plus on the shelf due to a hamstring injury, but he is making up for lost time with 148 rushing yards, 250 total scrimmage yards and three total touchdowns over the past two outings. Fournette's back for fantasy owners, and he is back as a legit No. 1 RB heading into Week 12 at Buffalo.

  • Posted: 11/11/2018 5:10pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 24 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 56 yards and another score in a 29-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

Huddle Up: Although Fournette wasn't efficient with his carries in his return from a four-game absence, fantasy owners have to be happy with his huge workload. He should at least be a volume-based RB2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.

  • Posted: 11/9/2018 9:54am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette was able to get through a week of practice with no setbacks to his hamstring injury and was taken off the Week 10 injury report.

Huddle Up: It appears as if it is now or never for Fournette, who has yet to finish the game this season. With that said, he is the focal point of the Jacksonville offense and needs to be inserted back into fantasy lineups. There's a good chance the Jaguars choose to ease him back into action after adding Carlos Hyde a few weeks ago, but Fournette can deliver RB1 production if he is given anything close to a full workload. His matchup against the Indianapolis Colts this weekend is far from daunting.

  • Posted: 11/8/2018 3:11pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

Huddle Up: Fournette has not played in a game since late September but appears to be on track to play in Week 10. He will be a risky option in all leagues because he could aggravate the injury like he did earlier in the season but will be a No. 1 or No. 2 running back if he receives his normal workload.

  • Posted: 11/7/2018 1:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) took part in a full practice session Wednesday, Nov. 7.

Huddle Up: Fournette appears to be trending in the right direction and he is likely to play in the Week 10 game against the Indianapolis Colts barring any setbacks. The Colts rank 19th in the NFL against the rush with 109.9 yards per game and six touchdowns allowed on the ground.

  • Posted: 11/5/2018 8:40am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Monday, Nov. 5.

Huddle Up: That looks like the green light he'll be back to face the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are a midrange matchup that have allowed more than 100 yards per game to backs on the ground the last five games, but they've allowed just two total scores in that time. Fournette is a low-end RB1.

  • Posted: 10/26/2018 8:25am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was ruled out for Week 8.

Huddle Up: Carlos Hyde and T.J. Yeldon figure to share the work, and Jags beat writer Hays Carlyon tweeted earlier today he expects Hyde to take 60 percent of the carries. Hyde is a flex option against the Philadelphia Eagles, and Yeldon is a PPR flex option with minimal upside.

  • Posted: 10/24/2018 7:50am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon looks like he'll be the guy again this week. However, his matchup is brutal against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles are in the top five at defending the position the last five weeks. Yeldon has some pop to him in PPR, but his ineffectiveness rushing doesn't leave much upside.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 7:40am ET

Updating previous reports, the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to keep RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) sidelined through the team's bye in Week 9, according to multiple sources. However, the team has no plans to place him on injured reserve.

Huddle Up: This means that in addition to missing this week's game versus the Houston Texans, Fournette would also be held out of action against the Philadelphia Eagles in London next week. T.J. Yeldon should be viewed as a high-end RB2 for now, although Jacksonville's recent acquisition of Carlos Hyde could negatively impact his fantasy value.

  • Posted: 10/19/2018 9:29am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: While there is a chance Fournette is able to practice and play in Week 8, it seems unlikely the Jaguars will activate him for one game in London versus the Philadelphia Eagles only to go on a bye in Week 9, meaning he will likely won't return until Week 10. T.J. Yeldon should serve as a high-end RB2 for at least two more games as a result.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 7:29am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is out of practice again Thursday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) is expected to practice today and looks in line to play against the Houston Texans. It's not a good matchup, and the number of issues the Jags have on offense makes Yeldon only a flex option.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 7:06am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Fournette is iffy for Week 7 against the Houston Texans, and T.J. Yeldon (ankle, foot) is also banged up. Jamaal Charles might be the lead back, but he has very little upside in fantasy.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 3:19pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was able to some running Monday, Oct. 15, and looked good, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Huddle Up: Fournette's status for Week 7 is uncertain, so owners should monitor his practice participation during the week. He is a No. 1 fantasy running back when healthy, but T.J. Yeldon will continue to start if Fournette misses another game.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 9:59am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was spotted running on a side field during practice Friday, Oct. 12. Head coach Doug Marrone later told reporters Fournette has a 'chance' to play as early as Week 7 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: Before owners get too excited, the Jaguars don't have a ton of motivation to rush him back with T.J. Yeldon playing well and won't feel overly compelled to rush him back if they can beat the Dallas Cowboys this week and the Texans next week, especially with the team's bye coming in Week 9. With that said, Marrone saying he has a chance to play next week means the team must be confident in his recovery. If he can stay healthy upon his return, he could easily be a top-five fantasy back the rest of the way.

  • Posted: 10/10/2018 7:57am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 6.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon will be in line for most of the work against a Dallas Cowboys defense that has been solid the last three weeks. Yeldon will be in the RB2 mix.

  • Posted: 10/8/2018 11:10am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) will not play in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys due to his hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: The fact Fournette is being ruled out this early would seem to be an indication he may not return in Week 7 either, which may be for the best after Jacksonville brought him back after two weeks prior to his Week 4 setback. T.J. Yeldon has filled in well in his absence and figures to be in line for a heavy workload after backup Corey Grant suffered a season-ending foot injury in Week 6. Owners should consider Yeldon an RB2 for the upcoming week.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 7:32am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 5.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon is set up to be an RB2 this week against a Kansas City Chiefs team that is the second-worst at defending the position.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 7:14am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) will not practice Wednesday, Oct. 3, and he appears to be a long shot to play in Week 5.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon scored twice last week, once on the ground and once via the air, and he'll enter the RB2 discussion against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs are the second-worst against the position this season.

  • Posted: 10/1/2018 12:24pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to miss at least two weeks with a hamstring injury.

Huddle Up: Fournette's timetable isn't set in stone at this point, but the Jaguars will indubitably use caution with their franchise running back. T.J. Yeldon has been playing well and will take over for the time being. Add him immediately if he's available on waivers.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 11:58am ET

Updating previous reports, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) will not return to the team's Week 4 game.

Huddle Up: Fournette has been dealing with a hamstring injury for most of the season, so owners will need to monitor the situation to see if he will miss more time. T.J. Yeldon would take over the starting job if Fournette is sidelined and could be a No. 2 fantasy running back.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 10:56am ET

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars Leonard Fournette (hamstring) returned to the team's Week 4 game in the second quarter after being listed as questionable with hamstring tightness.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 10:48am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was listed as questionable to return in the second quarter of Week 4 on Sunday, Sept. 30, with hamstring tightness.

Huddle Up: Fournette was busy early with 11 rushes for 30 yards and a five-yard reception, but the hamstring that kept him out of Weeks 2 and 3 apparently has tightened up. T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant will handle the RB workload again if Fournette can't return.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 8:55am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is officially active for the team's Week 4 game.

Huddle Up: Fournette should receive a majority for the work at running back even though he is still dealing with his hamstring injury. He will be a bit of a risky option because of his type of injury but can still be a No. 1 running back in most leagues.

  • Posted: 9/29/2018 9:22pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is expected to play against the New York Jets in Week 4, according to sources.

Huddle Up: Fournette will return after missing a couple of games, and while he might not immediately return to his workhorse role, he should see enough action to warrant RB2 status.

  • Posted: 9/29/2018 8:32pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) wrote on Twitter that he's 'happy to be back' for the Week 4 game against the New York Jets, but he later deleted the tweet.

Huddle Up: Fournette is expected to be a game-time decision, but it sounds like he expects to be on the field. Unless you happen to have a wealth of running back depth, you have to start him if he suits up. However, don't be surprised if he receives less than his typical workload.

  • Posted: 9/28/2018 9:21am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Friday, Sept. 28, but is listed as questionable on the injury report for Week 4 against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: Head coach Doug Marrone told reporters Friday he has a hard time playing anyone that isn't "100 percent," so owners need to take that into account before assuming Fournette will be cleared to play Sunday. If Fournette sits for a third straight game, T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant would be expected to share the backfield touches once again.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 4:30pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Fournette appears to have a decent chance to play this week and likely will receive his usual workload. He can be a No. 1 or No. 2 running back in all fantasy leagues if he is active.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 7:32am ET

Confirming a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) has been declared out for Week 3's game against the Tennessee Titans.

Huddle Up: T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant will split carries for the second consecutive week, with Yeldon making a viable flex option in all fantasy formats and Grant possessing some value as a flex player in deeper PPR leagues. Fournette had been able to participate in all three practice sessions during the week on a limited basis, so it appears that the Jaguars are holding him out as a precautionary measure. Expect him to return to action for Week 4's contest against the New York Jets.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 7:09am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is not expected to play in Week 3's game against the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple league sources.

Huddle Up: Fournette had been listed as questionable on the injury report after participating in practice on a limited basis throughout the week. T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant are expected to split carries in the backfield for the second consecutive game, with Yeldon worthy of consideration as a flex option in most fantasy leagues and Grant having value in deeper PPR formats.
