Huddle Up: Edelman was deservedly the MVP in a largely forgettable Super Bowel 53. He's been Tom Brady's go-to man for years now and will be in the PPR WR2 conversation going into the 2019 season. A potential Rob Gronkowski retirement would obviously raise Edelman's ceiling.
-
Posted: 2/3/2019 7:41pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman polished off the postseason with 26 catches for 388 yards in three games. He will enter 2019 as one of Tom Brady's security blankets and should be no worse than a WR3, especially in PPR formats.
-
Posted: 1/20/2019 7:57pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was particularly clutch on third downs throughout the game, and he has been Tom Brady's favorite target this postseason. Heading into the Super Bowl, Edelman has 16 catches on 23 targets for 247 yards in two games.
-

Huddle Up: With Josh Gordon gone and TE Rob Gronkowski not himself these days, Edelman has become Tom Brady's go-to target. He has drawn 10 or more targets in seven of his last 10 games this season, including a season-high 13 last weekend against the L.A. Chargers, resulting in nine receptions for 151 yards -- also season highs. Look for more of the same until a defense makes a concerted effort to take Edelman away.

Huddle Up: Edelman has been the top option for the Patriots for several years and will continue to receive plenty of targets in the passing game. He is a must-start option in all playoff fantasy leagues.

Huddle Up: Edelman continues to be the top option in the passing game for the Patriots and will be a must-start option in all playoff fantasy leagues.
-
Posted: 12/23/2018 3:01pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been targeted at least 10 times in six of the last eight games and continues to be the main option in the passing game. He should be considered a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues next week.
-
Posted: 12/16/2018 7:19pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman missed the first four games of the season due to suspension, but he has still managed 63 receptions, 711 yards and four scores on 92 targets. He remains a tremendous WR3 or flex fantasy option in PPR leagues with slightly lesser value in standard play.
-
Posted: 12/9/2018 1:45pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been targeted at least 10 times in four of the last six games and has recorded at least 70 yards in five of the last six games. He can be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues next week.
-
Posted: 12/2/2018 8:07pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman posted his worst yardage total of the season and the catch total was his lowest of the season, too. He'll look to bounce back in Week 14 against the Miami Dolphins, but should only be trusted as a WR4 or flex fantasy option.
-
Posted: 11/30/2018 1:06pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been a reliable receiver for Tom Brady for several years and should receive a lot of targets against the Minnesota Vikings. He can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues in Week 13.
-
Posted: 11/29/2018 1:43pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been targeted at least 10 times in three of the last four games and has posted at least 70 yards in all four of those games. He has been a solid fantasy option for several years and can be a No. 2 receiver this week.
-
Posted: 11/28/2018 3:07pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was targeted only five times in the last game but still finished with 84 yards and one touchdown. He is a big part of the team's passing game and should be considered a No. 2 fantasy receiver this week.
-
Posted: 11/25/2018 6:50pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has managed at least four grabs in each of his seven outings since starting the season on a four-game suspension. He has really kicked it into high gear over the past four, however, totaling 28 catches for 363 yards and a touchdown on 37 targets. He is back as a WR1 option in PPR leagues, and decent low-end WR2 or flex option in standard play heading into Week 13.
-
Posted: 11/22/2018 11:55am ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been targeted at least 10 times in each of the last three games and has two 100-yard games in that span. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in all leagues this week.
-
Posted: 11/21/2018 2:18pm ET
Huddle Up: Barring any type of setback, Edelman appears to be on track to play in the Week 12 game against the New York Jets, so feel comfortable starting him if you normally depend on the veteran in fantasy.
-
Posted: 11/12/2018 1:07pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been a beast for the Patriots since returning from suspension. He' seen double-digit targets in each of his last three games and has averaged 9.3 targets in the six games in which he's played. You're starting him as long as he's active.
-
Posted: 11/11/2018 4:28pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has two weeks to rest his bumps and bruises with a bye coming up next weekend. When healthy he is a tremendous PPR option, with less value in standard leagues.
-
Posted: 11/11/2018 12:42pm ET
Huddle Up: The Patriots have a bye next week, so Edelman will have time to rest his ankle before playing again. Owners should monitor his practice participation after the bye week to see if he will be in any danger of missing the Week 12 game.
-
Posted: 11/9/2018 1:44pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been a big part of the passing game since returning to the lineup and should continue to be a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver against most opponents.
-
Posted: 11/8/2018 1:51pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman should have a good chance to play this week despite the injury. He has been targeted 20 times over the last two games and has recorded 175 yards during that span. He can be considered a No. 2 receiver in all leagues and will have more value in point-per-reception leagues.
-
Posted: 11/7/2018 2:33pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has been resting during mid-week practices, which is pretty standard across the league for veterans. Circle back around Friday for the official injury designation before deciding on the PPR league option for Week 10.
-
Posted: 11/4/2018 8:48pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman continues to be a solid fantasy option since return from his four-game suspension. He has four or more catches in each of his past five outings, and he has posted 216 total yards from scrimmage over the past two weeks. The Patriots travel to meet the Tennessee Titans in Week 10.
-
Posted: 11/2/2018 2:52pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was in the same boat last week and he was able to play. He is a solid WR3 or flex option in PPR formats, and a decent WR4 in standard play.
-
Posted: 11/1/2018 1:47pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman appears to be on track to play in Week 9 and likely will continue to receive plenty of targets during games. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues this week.
-
Posted: 11/1/2018 10:27am ET
Huddle Up: Edelman should be fine for the Week 9 Sunday-night matchup against the Packers. He is coming off his most productive outing (nine catches for 104 yards on 10 targets) since debuting in Week 5, and he could figure heavily in the game plan again if TE Rob Gronkowski misses another game or continues to produce at far less than Gronk Level.
-
Posted: 10/31/2018 3:25pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman probably will be back on the field later in the week. He has been targeted at least seven times in all four of his game this season and is coming off his first 100-yard game. He can be considered a No. 2 fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 9.
-
Posted: 10/29/2018 9:02pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was the most effective fantasy option in a game which had very few offensive stars. He was particularly impressive in PPR. He'll be an important option in the pass game when the Packers pay a visit to Gillette Stadium on Sunday night in Week 9.
-
Posted: 10/21/2018 3:38pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was listed as questionable with a heel injury, but he didn't show any ill effects of the injury. He has found the end zone in back-to-back games and is back as a WR3 in all fantasy leagues heading into Week 8 against the Bills on Monday night.
-
Posted: 10/21/2018 6:14am ET
Huddle Up: Edelman was a limited practice participant throughout the week and was listed as questionable on the injury report. The fact that he traveled with the team bodes well for his chances of playing this afternoon and he's worthy of consideration as a low-end WR2 or high-end WR3 in all fantasy formats.
-
Posted: 10/20/2018 11:17am ET
Huddle Up: Edelman likely will be active for the Week 7 game and should see plenty of targets during the game. He can be considered at least a No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.
-
Posted: 10/19/2018 1:36pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman has recorded 11 receptions and 111 yards in his first two games of the season and should continue to be a popular target for Tom Brady. Edelman should be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 fantasy receiver in all leagues.
-
Posted: 10/18/2018 3:46pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman had managed to maintain perfect health since his season debut up until now. However, it could also be the team managing the veteran wide-out's reps. Either way, owners should definitely check up on his status throughout the weekend. He's a quality WR2 if he suits up.
-
Posted: 10/14/2018 11:47pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman posted 54 yards on seven receptions in his season debut last week. Given the influx of weapons in New England and Tom Brady's heavier reliance on James White as an option in the short passing game, the catch and yardage totals are probably the types of performances owners can expect from Edelman going forward. He'll be a serviceable WR3 in PPR leagues again in Week 7 versus the Chicago Bears.
-
Posted: 10/4/2018 10:27pm ET
Huddle Up: New England didn't ease Edelman back in, deploying him in his customary underneath role. While his numbers weren't eye popping, they topped all other Pats wideouts in catches, yards and targets. Edelman is at his best in PPR formats and should be a steady WR3 that'll punch up as an WR2 some weeks.
-
Posted: 10/4/2018 2:47pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman will play in the Week 5 game but may not see his normal workload since he missed the first four games. He can still be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver this week because of the favorable matchup.
-
Posted: 10/2/2018 9:04am ET
Huddle Up: The Pats could use the pass-catching help with Tom Brady and the aerial game off to a sluggish start, but it's definitely not wise to expect too much from Edelman early as he is 32 now and hasn't played in a regular-season game since 2016. He's a WR4 for now, with flex upside if you're desperate.
-
Posted: 8/3/2018 6:33pm ET
Huddle Up: Coming off a knee injury and scheduled to serve a four-game suspension to start the year, Edelman won't pay immediate dividends. However, he should be a strong WR3 in PPR formats when he does return. If he slips into WR4 territory, he is worth grabbing.
-
Posted: 6/25/2018 5:08am ET
Huddle Up: The 32-year-old will still have PPR value, but if he's forced to miss four games, his stock will take a huge hit. His durability and consistency are also concerns, and he'd fall into the WR3 territory if the ban holds up.
-
Posted: 6/7/2018 1:20pm ET
Huddle Up: Owners will need to monitor the situation to see if Edelman's suspension remains after the appeal is heard. He is expected to be the No. 1 receiver for the Patriots this season but would lose some fantasy value if he misses the first four games. He can still be a No. 2 receiver in most leagues, but owners would need solid backup plans if he sits.
-
Posted: 6/7/2018 10:47am ET
Huddle Up: These suspensions are rarely, if ever, overturned, so plan to be without Edelman for the first quarter of the season. Chris Hogan receives a big bump up in value and has WR2 upside, while Jordan Matthews now demands more attention in mid-to-late rounds. As for Edelman, he falls out of the PPR WR1 conversation.
-
Posted: 5/21/2018 1:11pm ET
Huddle Up: Edelman is coming off a torn anterior cruciate ligament and should be ready for training camp. He likely will be a top option for Tom Brady in the passing game in 2018 and can be at least a No. 3 fantasy receiver.
