Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum finished 26-of-42 for 290 yards and one touchdown in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

Huddle Up: The good news is Keenum avoided throwing an interception for the first time this season. The hard truth is if the Broncos had a viable alternative to Keenum, they would have likely turned to him already. Because Denver signed him to a two-year contract this offseason, it is highly likely the team will draft his eventual replacement next spring. Keenum will be an uninspiring QB2 option in Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers when the Broncos return from their Week 10 bye.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 2:00pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed 23-of-34 passes for 262 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 8 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: Keenum has thrown at least one INT in each of his eight games, so if you're a fantasy owner you need to be prepared for that. But he also has seven touchdowns over the past four outings with 262 or more passing yards in three of those contests. He remains more of a QB2 in most fantasy leagues, and isn't a bad streaming option in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 12:41pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (forearm) participated fully in practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Keenum has been underwhelming in his first year at the helm of the Broncos. The Arizona Cardinals' pass rush and pass defense isn't one to turn a cheek to. Keep Keenum on the bench if he's still rostered.

  • Posted: 10/15/2018 6:31pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (forearm) was listed as a full participant in practice Monday, Oct. 15.

Huddle Up: The team had a walk-through, so the participation was an estimate. However, he was in the same boat last week and he was able to play, and play well, against a solid Rams defense. Keenum remains more of a low-end QB2 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, however.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 8:33pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed 25-of-41 passes for 322 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Keenum has back-to-back 300-yard games for the first time this season, but oddly enough the Broncos were unable to avoid their fourth consecutive loss. It's a quick turnaround for Week 7 as the Broncos hit the road to battle the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Posted: 10/12/2018 2:56pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) was able to practice in full Friday, Oct. 12 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 6 game with the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Keenum has been trending upward over the past couple of games, but he faces a stiff test against a sturdy Los Angeles Rams defense ranking No. 9 against the pass in the NFL. Mother Nature might also work against Keenum, as there is a chance of light snow and sub-freezing temperatures for Sunday's game.

  • Posted: 10/11/2018 3:44pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 11.

Huddle Up: Keenum posted his second 300-yard game last week, but he has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns in 2018. He will be facing a tough Los Angeles Rams defense this week and should be avoided in all leagues.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 3:42pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed 35-of-51 passes for a season-best 377 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 5 against the New York Jets.

Huddle Up: It was Keenum's first 300-yard performance since Week 1, which is also the first time he had a touchdown pass. He still has five touchdown passes and seven interceptions, so he has work to do on the TD-INT ratio before he is worth using as anything more than a QB2 in most fantasy leagues. Keenum faces a tough matchup against the Rams in Week 6.

  • Posted: 10/1/2018 8:50pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed 21-of-33 passes for 245 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Huddle Up: After opening the season with three TD strikes against Seattle the quarterback has three consecutive games without a touchdown pass while throwing three interceptions and running for just one score. Keenum will try and rebound in Week 5 on the road against the Jets.

  • Posted: 9/29/2018 12:19pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) practiced in full for a third straight day on Saturday, Sept. 29 and he was removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 4 game with the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, Oct. 1.

Huddle Up: It's all systems go for Keenum, who has managed just three touchdowns through the air with one rushing score and five interceptions through three games in the Mile High City. However, he could do some things against the Chiefs pass defense, a team tied for dead last in the NFL allowing 362.7 yards per game with eight TDs and just one INT through three games.

  • Posted: 9/28/2018 2:36pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 28.

Huddle Up: Keenum has been held to under 225 yards in each of the last two games and has zero touchdowns during that span. Owners in all leagues probably should be able to find better options for their lineups this week.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 4:11pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Keenum has struggled over the last two games with zero touchdowns and two interceptions during that span. He may have more success this week against the Kansas City Chiefs but should not be a starting option in any league.

  • Posted: 9/21/2018 2:09pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 21, and is not on the injury report for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Keenum will be fine for the game but is off to a slow start this season. He will be facing a solid Baltimore Ravens defense and probably should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback this week.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 4:14pm ET

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Keenum should be ready to play in the Week 3 game but will be facing a solid Baltimore Ravens defense. Owners in most leagues should be able to find better options and can bench Keenum.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 11:14am ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) is participating in practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Keenum should be ready to play in Week 3 as long as he does not have any more problems with his knee. He has thrown for 554 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions in the first two games of the season and probably can stay on the bench this week against the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 9/19/2018 11:05am ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum (knee) was not present for practice Wednesday, Sept. 19, as he nurses a sore knee, according to as source. His absence was a precaution and he will be back on the practice field Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: It's nothing to be overly worried about unless Keenum aggravates the knee in the next couple of days. He's not a recommended start anyway versus the Baltimore Ravens.

  • Posted: 9/16/2018 11:44pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed 19 of 35 passes for 222 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 16.

Huddle Up: After throwing all of seven INTs in 481 attempts with Minnesota last year, Keenum has been picked four times in 74 attempts this season. At 2-0 there won't be any complaints in Denver, but it's undeniable that thus far Keenum looks more like the journeyman he was entering 2017 than the guy that led the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game. He's a QB2 with a more than a whiff of downside.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 7:54pm ET

Denver Broncos RB Case Keenum completed 25 of his 39 passes for 329 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions in a 27-24 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1.

Huddle Up: Aside from the turnovers, Keenum turned in a solid debut with the Broncos, making the most of Denver's talented group of receivers. He should have a shot at QB1 production against the Oakland Raiders in Week 2.

  • Posted: 8/11/2018 7:43pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum completed one of his four passes for five yards in his only series against the Minnesota Vikings in the preseason Saturday, Aug. 11.

Huddle Up: It was a forgettable start to the preseason for Keenum, but with a strong cast of receivers to work with, he has a chance to build on his breakout 2017 campaign. You can grab him as a QB2, and he might surprise with low-end QB1 production.

  • Posted: 8/2/2018 8:53am ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum hasn't thrown an interception in the first five days of practice.

Huddle Up: Can Keenum springboard off the magic from last season into a low-end QB1 in fantasy? Perhaps. You'll likely only need to spend a QB2 pick on him to find out.

  • Posted: 7/31/2018 1:54pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum is better now than he was last year, according to head coach Vance Joseph. Joseph cited Keenum's accuracy, command, smarts and feel for the game as defining qualities.

Huddle Up: Keenum has been a sigh of relief for the Broncos so far after the cesspool last year. He is the unquestioned starter for Denver, but not necessarily for fantasy squads. Keenum represents a safe backup and/or bye-week replacement.

  • Posted: 6/2/2018 7:08pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum has been taking all of the first-team reps during OTAs, and offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave said the exclusive work is paying dividends.

Huddle Up: It's no surprise that Denver is putting emphasis on Keenum learning the offense, and with a solid receiving corps to work with, he could prove last year's breakout in Minnesota was no fluke. Consider him a high-end QB2.

  • Posted: 3/16/2018 2:07pm ET

Denver Broncos QB Case Keenum has $1 million in annual incentives, and they're entirely based on playoff wins.

Huddle Up: Playoff wins do not mean anything to fantasy owners, who will be done by then. However, if he is able to realize those incentives it likely means he played at a high level during the regular season for his fantasy owners. He has one of the better one-two wideout duos in Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, so expect big things out of Keenum.

  • Posted: 3/13/2018 11:50pm ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum intends to sign with the Denver Broncos shortly after the start of the new league year Wednesday, March 14, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Huddle Up: The Broncos likely realized they probably weren't going to land Kirk Cousins, nor does it appear they wanted to pony up the cash it was going to take to get him. Current senior personnel advisor Gary Kubiak gave the former undrafted free agent his start in 2013 when he was the Houston Texans' head coach and likely played a huge role in convincing general manager John Elway to take the plunge. The addition of Keenum should not keep Denver from drafting a quarterback with the No. 5 overall pick next month, so it is too early to say for sure if Keenum is worth drafting for fantasy purposes.

  • Posted: 3/7/2018 10:24am ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum has drawn interest from the Denver Broncos, according to 9news.com's Mike Klis.

Huddle Up: This isn't a big surprise as Keenum will likely be Denver's backup plan if they can't corral Kirk Cousins. Keenum won't be in as high demand as Cousins, but he will be in high demand since he is considered the No. 2 quarterback on the free-agent market. That is after Drew Brees re-signs with the New Orleans Saints. Keenum is capable of QB1 games, but he's not a every-week QB1.

  • Posted: 3/4/2018 11:43am ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum is expected to be pursued by the Vikings, Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns and Arizona Cardinals in free agency, according to a source.

Huddle Up: Keenum is coming off a terrific 2017 season and should receive a lucrative contract this offseason. He has a chance to be a low-end No. 1 fantasy quarterback in 2018 depending on his team.

  • Posted: 2/26/2018 10:26am ET

Updating an ongoing story, Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum is unlikely to receive the franchise tag and is expected to hit the open market, according to sources. The Vikings are expected to look for a new starting quarterback for 2018.

Huddle Up: The market should sort this one out. Keenum may not receive a lot of interest in a starting situation, primarily due to a deep rookie class. Minnesota may return to Keenum as an option after the draft, so stay tuned. Either way, he is no better than a low-end QB2 in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 2/18/2018 6:22pm ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum is still the favorite to return as the starter in 2018 because offensive coordinator John DeFilippo prefers athletic quarterbacks, according to Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Huddle Up: Keenum had a breakout campaign in 2017, and if he does return as Minnesota's starter, he should be a solid QB2.

  • Posted: 1/22/2018 10:53am ET

Minnesota Vikings impending free-agent QB Case Keenum said he has not received any indication from the Vikings on if they want to re-sign him this offseason.

Huddle Up: Keenum is one of three Vikings quarterbacks that will be unrestricted free agents this offseason, but it is not known which quarterback the Vikings will look to re-sign. Keenum finished the regular season with 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns after taking over the starting job early in the season. He probably will be a starting quarterback for a team in 2018 and should be considered a No. 2 fantasy quarterback in most leagues.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 6:15pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 28 of his 48 pass attempts for 271 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Jan. 21.

Huddle Up: Keenum did a good job holding down the fort with Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater missing huge chunks of the season due to injury, and he almost carried them to the Super Bowl. He will head into the offseason as an impending unrestricted free agent. The way he played he might find a starting job in 2018.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 6:13pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum could receive the franchise tag, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Huddle Up: Minnesota will have some big decisions to make about the quarterback position this offseason. If Keenum does end up back under center to start 2018, he will be worth a look as a QB2.

  • Posted: 1/14/2018 5:34pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 25 of his 40 pass attempts for 318 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the NFC Divisional Round playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, Jan. 14.

Huddle Up: Keenum's only TD of the afternoon will go down in NFL Playoff history as one of the most amazing wins. He hit Stefon Diggs on a 61-yard pass play with no time left in regulation to stun the Saints. Next up is a visit against the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

  • Posted: 12/23/2017 8:54pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 14 of his 25 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown in a 16-0 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: Keenum had tossed multiple touchdowns in four straight games prior to tonight's pedestrian line. He did leave a couple of big plays on the field, but for the most part, the Vikings were happy to go with a conservative approach while their defense shut down a hapless Green Bay offense.

  • Posted: 12/22/2017 7:11am ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum has a great matchup against the Green Bay Packers in Week 16.

Huddle Up: The Packers have allowed the most fantasy points to QBs over the last five weeks. They've also been eliminated from the playoffs and have little to play for. Keenum has completed 74.2 percent of his passes this month with two TDs per game. He's a low-end QB1 consideration this week.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 1:37pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum went 20-for-33 for 236 yards and two touchdowns against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 15.

Huddle Up: Keenum has thrown at least two touchdowns in six of the last seven games and has only five interceptions during that span. He should have a favorable matchup next week against the Green Bay Packers and can be a No. 1 fantasy quarterback.

  • Posted: 12/10/2017 2:17pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 27 of his 44 pass attempts for 280 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 14 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Huddle Up: Keenum threw at least two touchdowns for the third straight game, a new season high for consecutive games with two or more scoring strikes. He continues to get it done under center for the Vikings, keeping Teddy Bridgewater nailed to the bench. They lost this one, but he played well and gave them a chance to win. He has emerged as a low-end QB1 in all fantasy formats.

  • Posted: 12/3/2017 1:03pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum went 25-for-30 for 227 yards and two touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13.

Huddle Up: Keenum has played very well since taking over as the starter for the Vikings and should continue to hold the job. He will be facing a solid Carolina Panthers defense in Week 14 but could still be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in deeper leagues.

  • Posted: 11/23/2017 1:22pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum totaled 302 yards and three touchdowns in a Thanksgiving win versus the Detroit Lions Thursday, Nov. 23.

Huddle Up: Keenum made a strong case for keeping the starting job away from Teddy Bridgewater. He has done nothing to force the Vikings' hand in making Bridgewater the starter, but he has forced us to consider him as a weekly starter.

  • Posted: 11/19/2017 3:40pm ET

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum completed 27 of his 38 pass attempts for 280 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 11 game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Huddle Up: Keenum has led the team to an 8-2 record and the perch in the NFC North Division. Teddy Bridgewater is back, but head coach Mike Zimmer basically said that no quarterback change is being considered. Keenum is the leader of this team right now and he has emerged as a borderline fantasy option. The Vikings face the Lions on Thanksgiving in Detroit in Week 12.
