Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed three times for 12 yards and caught five passes for 51 yards in a 29-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

Huddle Up: With Leonard Fournette back in the fold, Yeldon was limited to work in the passing game. He is worth keeping on your roster in case Fournette's hamstring acts up, but a healthy Fournette destroys his fantasy value.

  • Posted: 10/28/2018 10:35am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon caught seven passes for 83 yards against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. He also rushed for seven yards on two carries during the game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon likely will be used mostly as a receiver out of the backfield with Leonard Fournette and Carlos Hyde on the roster. He should continue to see a solid amount of touches during games and can be a flex option in Week 10.

  • Posted: 10/26/2018 6:33am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon is expected to receive 40 percent of the carries in Week 8, in the opinion of beat writer Hays Carlyon.

Huddle Up: The Philadelphia Eagles have allowed one touchdown to RBs in the last five weeks and aren't a great matchup. Yeldon should see the third down/passing work, and he's a flex option in PPR. However, Carlos Hyde appears poised to make Yeldon pretty risky.

  • Posted: 10/21/2018 2:59pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon caught five passes for 40 yards and one touchdown against the Houston Texans in Week 7. He also rushed for 28 yards on 12 carries during the game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon has been the main running back for the Jaguars over the last few weeks but could lose some touches when Carlos Hyde is ready to play. He will still have a role in the offense and can be a flex option in some leagues.

  • Posted: 10/19/2018 6:27pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon will remain the 'main back' for the Week 7 game against the Houston Texans, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com.

Huddle Up: The Jaguars just acquired Carlos Hyde, but until he has a full week of practice with the team under his belt, it makes sense that Yeldon would shoulder most of the load. Yeldon can be a RB2 in most leagues.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 1:05pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle, foot) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: Yeldon likely will be able to play despite the injuries and should receive most of the touches at running back. He can be considered a No. 2 running back in most leagues this week if he plays.

  • Posted: 10/18/2018 7:30am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) is expected to practice Thursday, Oct. 18.

Huddle Up: He could wind up limited, but it's definitely a good sign with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) still out. The matchup against the Houston Texans isn't great, and Yeldon could share some work with Jamaal Charles. Yeldon is a flex option at best this week.

  • Posted: 10/17/2018 7:07am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (foot, ankle) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Huddle Up: Jamaal Charles might be thrust into the lead back role against the Houston Texans. However, he doesn't provide enough upside to warrant a flex start.

  • Posted: 10/14/2018 8:22pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed eight times for 41 yards and caught three passes for 29 yards in a 40-7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.

Huddle Up: Yeldon's usage was hurt by the blowout loss, but he still managed 70 yards. He should be a solid flex option with RB2 upside against Houston in Week 7 if Leonard Fournette remains sidelined.

  • Posted: 10/7/2018 6:25pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed 10 times for 53 yards in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs and he added eight receptions for 69 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets.

Huddle Up: As long as Leonard Fournette remains sidelined due to a hamstring injury then Yeldon will be a solid fantasy option, particularly in PPR formats. The Jaguars face another tough defense on the road against the Cowboys, but he could get his fair share of targets in the pass game.

  • Posted: 10/4/2018 3:23pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 4.

Huddle Up: Yeldon likely will receive the start at running back with Leonard Fournette ruled out. He has played well at times this season and can be a low-end No. 2 running back or flex option in most fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 10/3/2018 2:59pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Huddle Up: Yeldon will serve as the starting tailback this week against the Chiefs in a key AFC showdown if he is healthy enough to go, as Leonard Fournette is already ruled out due to a hamstring issue.

  • Posted: 9/30/2018 7:21pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed 18 times for 52 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the New York Jets and he added three receptions for 48 yards and a score on three targets.

Huddle Up: Yeldon was expected to take a backseat to Leonard Fournette, who was back in the lineup, but the star quickly exited again after aggravating his hamstring issue. The backup took over and totaled 100 yards from scrimmage with two scores. If Fournette is out for Week 5 in Kansas City, Yeldon could have some value as an RB3 or flex fantasy option in leagues of 12 or more teams.

  • Posted: 9/27/2018 4:33pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 27.

Huddle Up: Yeldon probably will see limited work if Leonard Fournette returns to the lineup. He can still be a flex option in some leagues even if he is not the starting running back.

  • Posted: 9/26/2018 1:19pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was unable to take part in practice Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Huddle Up: Yeldon is banged up and it's uncertain if he'll be forced to miss time. Leonard Fournette was a limited participant due to his hamstring injury. Even if Yeldon is able to play, if Fournette returns for the first time since Week 1 then Yeldon is not useful from a fantasy perspective in most formats.

  • Posted: 9/24/2018 12:32pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RBs Leonard Fournette (hamstring) and T.J. Yeldon (ankle) are considered day-to-day, according to head coach Doug Marrone.

Huddle Up: Yeldon has carried the torch admirably in Fournette's absence, but the Jacksonville offense was mostly stagnant in Week 3. Both of their statuses will need to be tracked throughout the week, but if Fournette is sidelined again then Yeldon, if healthy, is an RB2 candidate. If both players sit, Corey Grant would be the biggest bargain of the week.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 1:55pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed for 44 yards on seven carries against the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. He also caught six passes for 46 yards during the game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon will see his playing time decrease if Leonard Fournette is ready to play in Week 4 but could still be involved in the offense. He can be a flex option if Fournette plays and a No. 2 fantasy running back if Fournette misses another game.

  • Posted: 9/23/2018 8:58am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) is officially active for the team's Week 3 game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon likely will receive most of the work at running back with Leonard Fournette out, but he will be a risky option for owners because he is coming off an ankle injury. He can still be a No. 2 running back or flex option in most leagues.

  • Posted: 9/21/2018 11:45am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 21, and is listed as questionable for Week 3.

Huddle Up: Yeldon received the start last week but may be a game-time decision in Week 3 because of the injury. He could be a flex option if he plays and would be more valuable if Leonard Fournette misses another game.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 2:43pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: Yeldon received the start last week but is now uncertain for Week 3. Owners should know more about his status in the upcoming days. Yeldon will be a risky option if he is able to play this week.

  • Posted: 9/20/2018 7:36am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) is unlikely to practice Thursday, Sept. 20.

Huddle Up: He could still practice Friday and be good to go for the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. However, Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is healing up. Fournette would need to be limited for Yeldon to have real value beyond backup status.

  • Posted: 9/19/2018 1:25pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) was unable to practice Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Huddle Up: Yeldon has been filling in and seeing more work with Leonard Fournette (hamstring) on the shelf. Fournette was able to practice on a limited basis, so he might be able to return in Week 3. Even if Yeldon can play, as long as Fournette is healthy, then Yeldon's fantasy appeal is rather limited.

  • Posted: 9/19/2018 7:12am ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (ankle) is not expected to practice Wednesday, Sept. 19.

Huddle Up: Yeldon would need Leonard Fournette (hamstring) to be limited or out to be a viable play against a tough Tennessee Titans matchup.

  • Posted: 9/9/2018 2:32pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed for 51 yards on 14 carries against the New York Giants in Week 1. He also caught three passes for 18 yards and one touchdown during the game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon received more playing time than expected because of Leonard Fournette's injury and could start in Week 2 if Fournette is sidelined. He could be at least a flex option if he starts but can be avoided if Fournette is able to play.

  • Posted: 8/18/2018 1:54pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon was the workhorse in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 18 against the Minnesota Vikings, rushing for 39 yards on 10 carries while adding a game-high five grabs and 73 yards on six targets.

Huddle Up: Yeldon received a long look after Leonard Fournette exited the game early. The former Alabama standout is trying to hold off Corey Grant, Tim Cook and Brandon Wilds for the primary backup job to Fournette. It appears the incumbent will hold onto his job, but his fantasy appeal remains limited to deeper PPR leagues and as a handcuff for Fournette.

  • Posted: 7/8/2018 8:29pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon is improving as a runner, according to offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. 'You can see more explosion start to come from him,' Hackett said. 'Just his ability to pass protect and be able to catch the ball from the backfield.'

Huddle Up: Yeldon has taken a backseat to Leonard Fournette on early downs, and he could be facing pressure from Corey Grant in the passing game. If he can hold off Grant and remain the primary third-down back, he can be a RB5 as a handcuff for Fournette.

  • Posted: 1/21/2018 3:43pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed five times for 25 yards in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots on Sunday, Jan. 21, and he added two catches for six yards on three targets.

Huddle Up: Yeldon didn't do a whole lot in the regular season, but he did step up in the postseason to hold his own when Leonard Fournette needed a breather. If he can ascend to and keep the No. 2 spot behind Fournette in 2018, he might be worth a look in deeper leagues as a handcuff, particularly PPR formats. It depends on the team's personnel moves in the offseason.

  • Posted: 1/14/2018 3:15pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon ran five times for 20 yards and a touchdown in the AFC Divisional Round playoff win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Jan. 14, and he added three grabs for a team-high 57 yards.

Huddle Up: Yeldon was battling an illness this week, but it's the Steelers who were sick after he shook free for a running score while also posting a 40-yard reception, twice as far as his longest grab of the season. Normally he wouldn't have much in the way of fantasy appeal, but he isn't a bad RB2 or flex play in postseason DFS play.

  • Posted: 1/5/2018 12:05pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (illness) did not participate in practice Friday, Jan. 5, and is listed as questionable for the Wild Card playoff game.

Huddle Up: Yeldon may be a game-time decision for the game, so owners will need to check the inactive list for his official status. He will receive only a few touches if he plays and can be avoided in fantasy leagues.

  • Posted: 1/4/2018 12:42pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Jan. 4.

Huddle Up: Yeldon should be available to play as long as he can recover from his illness in time. He probably will only see a handful of touches if he plays and will not be a strong fantasy option.

  • Posted: 12/24/2017 8:13pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed five times for 13 yards and a touchdown in Week 16 against the San Francisco 49ers and he added seven catches for 64 yards on 10 targets.

Huddle Up: Yeldon's 77 total yards were his most since Oct. 22 when he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown back on Oct. 22 in Indianapolis. Every now and then he shows he can be an explosive back in the NFL, but his role is rather limited as long as Leonard Fournette is around.

  • Posted: 12/17/2017 7:34pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed seven times for 27 yards in Week 15 against the Houston Texans and he added four receptions for 25 yards on five targets.

Huddle Up: Yeldon saw plenty of touches, but it was Corey Grant who was the star of the three-headed backfield with Leonard Fournette on the shelf. Yeldon is decent in deeper PPR formats if Fournette continues to miss time, but he has much less value in standard leagues.

  • Posted: 11/26/2017 8:46pm ET

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon posted three runs for 10 yards and five receptions for a team-high 42 yards on six targets in Week 12 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Huddle Up: Yeldon still isn't worth using unless Leonard Fournette was to suffer some sort of a long-term injury. Even then, Chris Ivory is also waiting in the wings waiting for a bigger role.
